Lightning Strikes Neighbor's Yard...
Repeatedly Watch this 90 second
lightning video showing a tremendous storm. The
video was taken from our garage. At the mid-point,
watch closely for the repeated strikes in the same area...
and our neighbors yard.

While in Orlando,
we ran into hundreds of college students attending an AMA
conference. They were a blast... and entertaining at the same
time!
Bat
House
In 2003, we erected
a bat house to provide a home for these endangered mammals.
Bats are an outstanding solution to problem pests. Each bat
will eat thousands of mosquitoes each night. They won't
attack, get caught in your hair, etc. It takes, on average, 2-3 years before
bats will inhabit a new structure. On August 1, 2005, we
thought we saw activity. This video was made and we were able
to confirm that we had 5 bats living in the house! On
September 1, we took a new count... and we confirmed at least
15! This house is designed to hold about 30-40
