Virginia Beach, VA 2007
Terry and I drove to Virginia
Beach, VA for a weekend getaway. Having never been
there, I was very pleased! the beach is spotless, well
maintained. All of the locals were extremely friendly.
I've seen some beach hotels and I was impressed with the
Holiday Inn Oceanside. We had a great time and enjoyed
the evenings as much as the days!
Virginia Beach features Atlantic Boulevard which runs parallel to the beach, and ocean-side hotels. There's a section in the middle named "Beach Street U.S.A." that features performers of all types at every corner! Virginia Beach pays these performers, so they aren't even permitted to accept tips. The talent was fantastic! We saw a wide-range of performances, all free, all good... and had a blast going from block to block! We'll be back! Click on the pictures... use
