2005

Dec. 31, 2005 -- Terry's convinced 2006 is going to be a great year!  He drives a Mazda 6, his favorite number is 6 and he was born in '69.  I'm convinced that 2006 is going to be a great year... how can it not be?... it's the Chinese Year of the Dog!  Woof! 

Dec. 19, 2005 -- Six days til Christmas!  And the shopping is done!  Just started two weeks of vacation... woohoo!  Nothing big planned except staying local, hanging out with some friends, some household painting projects and enjoying Christmas and New Years.  We've had a few brief snow storms... the biggest resulted in about 3-4" of the stuff.  Bob tried to eat it all.  Terry was mad 'cause he couldn't sled.  Bring on the snow!! 

Nov. 25, 2005 -- Thanksgiving rocked!  Terry started cooking Wednesday night... and it continued Thursday morning.  Andy joined us for Thanksgiving, along with 5 bottles of wine!  The food was awesome... great job Terry!  The wine was great... coffee... cigars... football... what a great day! 

Nov. 4, 2005 -- Finally, November is here!  October was a real busy month.  We had house guests all but 6 days in October!  It was great seeing Brian, LouAnn, Betty, Bill, Carrie and Tim.  The Halloween party was awesome, and most of the setup is now put away until next year.  We're wiped out... and planning a nice, calm, relaxing weekend. 

Oct. 30, 2005 -- We made it.  the house is in one piece... for the most part!  Let's see, we have smears of Homer's makeup throughout the upstairs hallway, a spare set of really cool rubber bat wings, numerous wigs, magnets, a battery-operated device.  10 cases of beer consumed.  Even 2 gallons of cheap rum and vodka disappeared.  Not a single Terry-Ball remained (Terry's salty meatballs are always a hit).  And then, there's the back yard.  It looked like a gigantic chicken exploded.  There were feathers stuck on the house, all over the deck, in the grass, stuck to the fence.  What happened Paula?!!!  All in all, we survived another year... and had an absolute blast!  Thanks to all for making it what it is!!

Oct. 25, 2005 -- The Halloween Party is just days away!  Looks like a very large crowd this year... should be a blast!  The only concern is the slight chance of rain... we'll be keeping a close eye on it! 

Oct. 6, 2005 -- Today was Terry's birthday.  We had great friends from Tampa visiting during the week.  Brian and LouAnn were able to be here and help celebrate.  Besides it was another excuse for a party!  We ended up at the normal hangout, Applebee's... Terry, Mike, Brian, LouAnn, Daniel, Andy, Gayle, Marilyn, Julia, Carolyn, Angel and Susie.  We had a blast, lots to drink and finally made it back home... for a couple hours of additional drinking and Karaoke!  Terry had a great birthday and got a coupon for a free Philly Cheese Steak in Philadelphia!  We'll probably make that trip in November!
